How is a human an ape? (This claim was made by a brilliant disciple of evolution)?
When was the last time apes exhibited abstraction on a human level?
For that matter, what species anywhere on the planet has expressed abstraction on the same level as, say, autralopithicenes?
Dr. Leakey once demonstrated that pebble tools were used to cut trees to make houses. Isn’t that being able to see a rock and (before doing anything with it) being able to visualize how you can alter it’s shape to make a tool that makes something useful (abstraction three times removed)?
Doesn’t it bother you that there is NOTHING on planet earth even remotely related to human beings?
(Or is that too much "science" for you? Would you rather discuss the evolution of the human brain or do you want to keep it simple and just look at pictures and see how much they look alike, as PROOF of relationships?)
A 3 second Google search would prove you wrong. Great apes, such as gorillas and chimps, use tools and are capable of learning sign language.
This is even dumber than the tripe you usually come up with.

The way you classify is you compare all traits all members of the groups have, not point out a difference. I know it’s hard, but my guinea pig can do it.
We have all traits that apes share, thus we are apes.

We are genetically pretty close to chimpanzees. But that’s probably too much "science" for you and you probably just want to take one example and say that its too complex and attribute it to some sort of deity.

We are apes, and the Chimpanzee is our closest cousin. Apes and monkeys do exhibit behavior that many have always thought to be unique to humans, including bonding for live, homosexuality, and even religious practices. These behaviors have become more refined in the line that led up to us because of the growth of our brains.

Humans are primates, and closely related to the species known as apes.
Also, tool use has been observed in animals from apes to birds, so the second part of your question is foundationless and moot.

Some primates exhibit very human like behavior. I can’t believe you think that they are not anywhere similar to us. About 97% of our DNA is shared with chimpanzees. Here is a cool video of primates showing very human traits. remember…you have to actually look at the evidence and stop being so pessimistic towards it if you want to understand why the majority of the (intelligent) people on this planet believe in evolution.

Well, we took tool-making to another level. Our brains are much further developed than apes, and our ability to amass new knowledge grows at an exponential rate. Given the amount of time involved, I’d be surprised if there wasn’t as big of a gap as there is between our most closely related ancestor.

Chimps use around 35 steps and 5 different tools varying on region and tribe to find underground honey. This shows planning, learning and sequencing. They also use a variety of other tools to accomplish other tasks like cutting large fruits into bite size pieces or cracking nuts.
Various animals have been shown to understand verbal communication and can verbally make jokes or express abstract desires. Further, seals have shown the capability to reason that if A = B and B = C then A = C.
On the emotional and moral fronts, it has been confirmed that many animal species display various "human" emotions and that social animals have a sense of morality and fairness.
Your question is based on a complete ignorance of what we know and it is obvious that you have not researched anything that you are talking about. I doubt that you have a good concept of what "science" is or how it operates.
Edit:
Interestingly, chimps have been observed being cautious around fire, but not blindly fearing it. Think about that for awhile…
